Aim and Scope

Over the past many decades, the societies of the world are under rapid and continual change due to scientific, technological and communication advancements. Every field of knowledge has become a specific field. Education has become a specialized field separating itself from the other subject of social sciences. The industrial modernity, globalization, fast ways of information communication brought the major shifts in policies, management, curriculum, pedagogy and practices along with lives of students and teachers. Due to the expansion it is the need of the hour to provide a separate forum in the form of a research journal in the field of education. Journal of Educational Sciences and Research publishes original, blind double peer-reviewed research articles relevant to education in particular and social sciences in general as per Higher Education Commission. The Journal is a bi-annual refereed journal published by Department of Education, University of Sargodha, Sargodha-Pakistan and invites, accepts and publishes articles as per Higher Education Commission (HEC) policy criteria. 

Journal of Educational Sciences and Research provides a platform for the researchers, teachers, educational managers and social scientists to contribute their ideas, information and experiences relevant to the field of education in the form of research reports for futuristic developments and informed decision making. The journal facilitates and promotes research culture in the field of education focusing on application of emerging theories, use of modern communication technologies, discovering new teaching-learning techniques in varying social trends and impacts of changing thoughts and political scenario on education.

The researches related to education in particular and social sciences in general are considered for publication especially about educational policies, planning, systems and management, development and changes in curriculum and pedagogy; educational assessment and psychology; sociology and economics of education; effects of ways of communication, technology, media, cultural changes and globalization on education and learning, equity, inclusion or any other relevant and emerging field.
